Impact of Collaborative Planning, Forecasting, and Replenishment on Improving the Performance of Iraqi Industrial Companies

Abstract

The research aims to improve the performance of Iraqi industrial companies by using the collaborative planning, forecasting and replenishment model. The General Company for the Automotive Industry and Equipment affiliated with the Ministry of Industry in the Republic of Iraq was chosen as the field of study, and the General Company for the Battery Industry in Baghdad Al-Waziriyah was chosen as the study sample, and qualitative data were obtained by adopting the questionnaire. , distributing it to a sample of middle and upper management, and obtaining quantitative data from the company records, the study adopted the structural modeling method in order to analyze relationships, and the study reached a set of conclusions, the most important of which is that the collaborative planning, forecasting and replenishment model contributes effectively to facing the shortcomings in the supply chain cooperation, such as Data exchange, effective customer response movement, cooperation between members of the supply chain, and giving the customer priority in competition.
