The relationship between knowledge management and a chain
Abstract
The aim of this research is to give Reduces balanced advice on how they can realize a foundation in knowledge management and then use it to promote current business operations. In other words: can Reduces store and increase its knowledge, or manage it, within the organization? And, can Reduce make optimal use of knowledge management to manage organizational knowledge and thereby realize business growth? This research provides a picture of the available knowledge within Reduces, in particular the collaboration between Reduces and Instead. In addition, the level of this knowledge was investigated, so that the company knows exactly from which basis they can implement knowledge management. Subsequently, a recommendation was given to Reduces on how to tackle all these different levels of knowledge in order to realize knowledge management. Varying from documenting available knowledge in various indicated ways to transferring knowledge through, for example, master companies. In addition, a company wiki is also recommended to Reduces, in which employees can share their available knowledge with others within the organization so that the total available knowledge can be increased.
