Challenges In Knowledge Transfer In A Multinational organization

Abstract

Knowledge is today one of the most important sources of competitive advantage for organizations. The importance of knowledge transfer in multinational companies across borders has become considerably more important as the world becomes globalized and knowledge is continuously developed. In this study, a case study of the knowledge transfer processes of an international maritime actor has been carried out; Norac AS, where the following research questions are to be investigated:

1. How does Norac experience its current knowledge transfer processes between Norway and China, and the challenges associated with these?
2. From a theoretical perspective, what can be done to deal with these challenges?
