The impact of strategic planning, corporate social responsibility and performance based on a model of structural equations
Abstract
The research focuses on the analysis of the impact of strategic planning on corporate social responsibility and non-financial performance in Mipymes in the south of the state of Quintana Roo. The data was extracted from a survey that was applied to 384 companies from different lines of business. The information was examined through the structural equation method (SEM). The objective of the study was to analyze the relationships between the dimensions of corporate social responsibility, non-financial performance, and the impact that strategic planning has on these dimensions. The research concluded that the ethical dimensions and the employees linked to the strategic planning group showed a positive and significant relationship both in the companies that do apply strategic planning and in the institutions that do not use it.
