The Impact of Banking Awareness on Banking Performance : Analytical Study of Banks Listed in the Iraq Stock Exchange
Abstract
This study aims to identify the impact of banking awareness on improving banking performance. The study was applied in a sample of Iraqi banks listed in the Iraqi Stock Exchange. A structural model was formulated and its validity tested within the quality indicators and factor analysis. The research included four hypotheses regarding banking awareness and its dimensions. Statistical analysis was carried out based on regression analysis and structural modeling method. The research reached conclusions, the most important of which is that: providing banking services that meet the needs of customers requires continuous development and increasing banking innovations that require high banking awareness to provide distinguished services and improve banking performance.
